Integrated Transmission

Backhaul and forward haul connection are integrated into the MicroBTS to enable efficient intra-node communications with no additional equipment required.  This enables multiple inter-connected devices to supply bandwidth to each other and provide access to subscribers without the need for backhaul feeds into every node. Additional ports are supplied enabling easy connectivity to the operators Point Of Presence (POP)

Multi-radio Architecture

The devices supports multiple radios where at least 2 of 6 slots are used for intra-node communications and the remaining slots can be used for additional backhaul / forward haul bandwidth or multiple access cards. Powerful radios, upto 350mW output power (depending upon local regulatory power levels) This patented architecture enables high capacity low latency links throughout the entire network.

Multi-sector Antenna support

Standard N-type connectors are provided to enable easy increase in access capacity in high subscriber deployments though the use of sectored antennas.

Easily upgradeable & scalable

Additional radio cards can be easily slotted into the MicroBTS to provide support for increased number of users or new air interfaces such as 3G HSPA. It is also possible to stack and interconnect MicroBTS to provide maximum access for multiple users and large backhaul and forward haul connections.
